Meet Molly Stern (She/Her)

Molly is a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adult and adolescent clients, their families and significant others who are motivated to learn about themselves, improve their relationships and transform their lives. Molly is passionate about meeting clients where they are at and helping them to foster positive change, believing that clients are the experts of their own lives. She is here to listen and guide clients in a non-judgmental, conversational and affirming way.

Beginning therapy can be overwhelming and Molly aims to make the process feel authentic and comfortable. She uses a strengths-based, positive approach and tailors sessions to the client, leaning on several different therapy modalities to support clients in deeper exploration. Molly works with clients virtually and in person going through a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, eating disorders, negative body image, relationship problems and life transitions. Molly is fat-positive and uses a weight neutral approach, is welcoming to all gender and sexual identities, races, religions, and cultural backgrounds and is an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Molly received her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University and her masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University. Molly is an active member of the Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (GAMFT), the Atlanta Group Psychotherapy Society (AGPS) and the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA). Molly lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband.
