What Do You Treat in Couples Therapy Sessions?

We seek to provide a safe environment for each person to feel seen and heard. Over time, it can become more and more difficult to maintain a strong connection with each other. We work with you to foster that connection, navigate different parenting styles, build stronger communication, and ultimately a way back to each other, if that is the goal.

Can You Help Us?

In order for couple’s therapy to have the best results, we ask that both couples buy into the process. We will work with both of you to reach your goals through a combination of psychodynamic and relational therapy techniques.

What Should I Expect During Couples Therapy?

Prior to your first session we’ll have you complete our informational packet. During the first session, we’ll meet to hear your goals, concerns as a couple, and the reason you’ve come to us. During the next session we meet with one partner, and the next we meet with the other before resuming together. A strong relationship must be built on trust and honesty, so anything said in either individual session is privy to the couple session.

Each session is an hour long, and a credit card will be put on file prior to your first session through our electronic medical record system.

To schedule your first session, please reach out to one of our therapists directly.
